GRP Modular refinery is planned as an intervention in this large underserved market. Located in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government – Delta State, the GRP Modular Refinery (phase 1) will be executed over a 24 to 30 months period. The project will increase the refining capacity of crude oil and oil refined products for the domestic market in Nigeria and ECOWAS African Countries. GRP Modular Refinery will be licensed to export refined products for all the international Markets.
The refining capacity of Gbaramatu Refinery will include the installation of a 20,000 BPD Greenfield Refinery in First Phase and the construction of around 250 thousand barrels of Crude Storage Tanks. The project will also include the construction of around 500 thousand barrels of Refined Products Storage Tanks and a Jetty for imports/Exports of products, Power Plant and other support facilities. With a Target for the refinery to reach 60000 BPD to 100000 BPD Capacity for the next Phases.
